Get your licence in three simple steps
Step 1
Complete your online theory
Your theory is done online before your practical day. It takes a couple of hours and you can do it from home at your own pace. Get started below.
Step 2
Book and attend your practical training and assessment
Book your practical training and assessment day on the water at Redland Bay. Pick your
course and choose a date that suits you. You can book right away, just ensure to complete
the online training component prior to attending.
Step 3
Present your certificate to Transport and Main Roads
When you pass, you get a Statement of Competency. Take it to any Transport and Main Roads office and pay the government fee to have your licence issued. You have six months to register it before it expires.
